Stand oils (also called thick oils) are commonly used in coatings, such as wood varnishes, and glazes as binders.
Due to the requirements of Regulation 1907/2006/EC (REACH), some stand oils will only be available on a limited basis after May 31, 2018.
The Robert Kraemer company will continue to offer stand oils made from linseed oil, wood oil (tung oil), derizole oil and other oils in various viscosity ranges as well as oil boils.
If you are interested in a stand oil or if you are looking for an alternative to your currently used oils or also oil decoctions, please feel free to contact us.
If the products in our extensive range do not fully meet your requirements, we can also develop a stand oil or oil boiling (also hard oil) according to your specifications and wishes, such as oil type, viscosity, proportion of hard resin etc.
