Oligomers

Oligomers are molecules composed of several structurally identical or similar units (monomers).
To be able to speak of a polymer, there must be more than structures with more than 50 monomers. Oligomers are therefore molecules with a size between single molecules, the monomers, and polymers.

Since oligomers are only named accordingly up to a size of 50, they are systematically named according to the number of individual molecules involved.
